Overview
The Foreign Fire Insurance Board shall manage and administer the money
in the Foreign Fire Insurance Fund as required by state statute for the
maintenance, use, and benefit of the Fire Department. The President of
the Foreign Fire Insurance Board (or, in the President's absence, the
Vice President) shall preside over all meetings of such board. The
Foreign Fire Insurance Board shall have the power to adopt additional
rules and regulations for the management and operation of the Foreign
Fire Insurance Board and Foreign Fire Insurance Fund not inconsistent
with the provisions of this Code; provided that such rules and
regulations shall be subject to the requirements of section 2-263 of
this Code.
