Project Description
This project involves adding inlet structures, regrading ditches and replacing damaged or non-standard culverts on the 2000 and 2100 blocks of Woodlawn Road (between Shermer Road and Penfold Place). The goal of this work is to enable stormwater to better flow to Shermer Road where it can be transported via the storm sewer infrastructure to the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River. During the work on Woodlawn, the road will be closed to through traffic during the day, though residents will be able to access their driveways throughout the work zone at all times.Enabling Resolution
