[ARCHIVED] Dundee Road Pavement Restoration

Construction Alert

The week of June 15, Public Works will be conducting pavement restoration (due to a prior water main break) on the 3300 block of Dundee Road. Work is anticipated to be complete in two phases over the course of two weeks. While this work is occurring, traffic control will be setup on Dundee Road between Landwehr Road and the entrance to 3300 Dundee Road.

Phase 1: The first phase will include the replacement of concrete curb and gutter, as well as the concrete base of the roadway, and resetting the storm sewer inlet. The westbound curb lane will be closed, and traffic will merge with the inside westbound lane at Landwehr. Access to the Solomon Schechter School and the 3300 Dundee Road building will be unaffected.

Phase 2: The second phase will include bringing the asphalt surface of the patch level with the roadway. Both westbound lanes of traffic will be merged into the center turn lane while the roadway patch is being done. This second phase is expected to take 3 to 4 days.
