The Village of Northbrook is scheduled to start construction on Cedar Lane Tuesday, September 6. This project includes adding an all-way stop with ADA sidewalk ramps at the intersection of Cedar Lane and Cherry Lane, constructing a new pedestrian mid-block crossing with a flashing beacon on Cedar Lane between the Library and Village Hall, and asphalt patching on Cedar Lane. Parking on Cedar Lane will be limited during construction. Motorists should plan for delays or utilize an alternative route while construction operations are occurring. Construction barricades and signage will be placed prior to work beginning. Work is expected to be completed by October 21, weather depending.
