Passing through downtown Northbrook, by Edwards Florist and the train station, there is a notable artistic project in progress, and two local residents are at the center of this creative endeavor.
Terry Luc, a well-established artist and a longtime Northbrook resident, has a strong connection to the community. He attended Glenbrook North High School, and interestingly, his six children followed in his footsteps by attending the same school. Among his children is Gerry Luc, who also shares his father's artistic talents.
The father-son duo has been painting together from a young age. Their artistic journey took an exciting turn when the Village of Northbrook commissioned them to create a mural in the downtown area. Through this mural, the duo aims to demonstrate their combined artistic abilities, creating a captivating piece of art that they hope Northbrook residents and visitors will appreciate. Watch this video to learn more about the Lucs, and the soon-to-be-finished new mural.
