For the Village Board meeting on June 24, 2025 7:30 p.m.
Highlights of action taken include:
- Authorized a contract for the 2025 Local Drainage Improvements to address flooding concerns at the intersection of Auburn Lane and Manor Drive, Helen Drive and Habor Lane, and Dehne Road from Butternut Lane to Penfold Place.
- Approved a three-year contract with GoGov software which is currently used in the Village for resident request management on the Village website and internal code enforcement systems.
- Authorized contractual services for firefighter entrance examinations.
- Approved financial grants to 14 Non-Profit Community Organizations that serve the Northbrook community.
- Approved a Special Permit Meadowbrook School at 1600 Walters, which was built in 1954 and opened in 1955 (more than thirty years before the Zoning Code was adopted in 1988 and therefore is an existing legal non-conforming use) along with site plan approval for a new gymnasium which meets zoning requirements.
- Preliminary Review for relocation of one affordable housing unit from #179 to #187. Both units are in the same townhome building within the 34-unit rental townhome subdivision at 175 Pointe Drive.
