Agendas & Minutes

In accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act, the Village publishes and maintains the agendas, minutes, and other records of each of its elected and appointed Boards and Commissions. Agendas are posted no less than 48 hours prior to the noticed start time of the meeting, and minutes are posted after approval by their respective board or commission. 

Village Board Meetings

Regular and Committee of the Whole Meetings

The Village Board holds its regular meetings and Committee of the Whole meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at Village Hall. Visit this website for meeting agendas and minutes as well as live or archived videos of regular Village Board meeting. Committee of the Whole meetings are not filmed. 

Regular Village Board meetings are streamed live on the Village's Facebook page, on this website, and on NCTV-Cable Channel 17 (AT&T U-verse customers tune to Channel 99 and search "Northbrook"). Meeting videos are replayed on the cable channel the following day at 9am and 7pm and the following Sunday at 9am and 7pm.

Board Work Committees

Village Board members participate on Board Work Committees  that meet on call. The agendas and minutes for these meetings can be found in the Meeting Portal. Board Work Committees include the following:

  4. Community & Sustainability Committee
  5. Housing Committee
  6. Planning & Economic Development Committee

Plan Commission Meetings

The Plan Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at Village Hall. Visit this website to see the agendas and minutes of any Plan Commission meeting as well as live or archived video of the meetings.
