2020 - Bicycle/Pedestrian Improvements
In addition to the routine sidewalk removal and replacement programs, the Village completes improvements for bicycle and pedestrians as outlined in the Master Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. In 2020, the Village will construct the Farnsworth-Birch-Koepke-Miller bicycle boulevard.

2021 - Asphalt Road Rehabilitation
The 2021 asphalt street program includes resurfacing portions of Founders as well Longmeadow Road and both segments of Peeblebrook.

2021 - Neighborhood Sidewalk Program
The Village of Northbrook systematically surveys public sidewalks to identify defective and deteriorated sections of sidewalk that create a potential hazard and a liability for the Village. The 2021 program will focus on improvements in the Northbrook East, Skokie Highlands and Timber Hill Estates as well as at least one side of Pfingsten Road from Highland Road to Walters Avenue.

2021 - Waukegan Road Resurfacing
The Illinois Department of Tranportation will be completing a SMART overlay (resurfacing) of Waukegan Road between Lake-Cook Road in Deerfield and Ammer Road in Glenview.

2022 - Cedar Lane Roadway Improvements
The 2022 Cedar Lane project involves reconstruction of Cedar Lane between Cherry Lane and Walters Avenue.

2023 - Cherry Lane Underpass Reconstruction
The planned improvements include the reconstruction of Cherry Lane between Cedar Lane and Meadow Road. The existing concrete pavement will be converted to asphalt pavement and deteriorated curb and gutter will be replaced.
