2025 - Asphalt Street Rehabilitation

Next week the contactor Schroeder’s Asphalt is planning on saw cutting Monday and Tuesday on the west side of Greenwood Road.  They will perform curb removal on Wednesday and pouring on Thursday.  This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the case of a rain event. General Information

Project Description

The Village of Northbrook proactively reviews the condition of its streets on a regular basis to identify problems and appropriate measures to correct them. This project involves resurfacing Christina Lane, Greenwood Road, Hillcrest Lane, Pamella Lane, and Weller Lane.

Current Project Updates

08/15/2025

During the week of August 11, the contractor completed asphalt resurfacing at all streets on the project. Additionally, the contractor began work on punch list times.

Next week, the contractor intends to continue work on punch list items. No further updates will be provided for this project as the work has been substantially completed.

07/25/2025

This week, the contractor has completed all the structure adjustments for the project.  

Next week, the contractor will be making minor adjustments required before final paving. The work for the final paving and driveway restoration will take place the week of August 4.

07/18/2025

This week the contractor completed asphalt driveway repairs on Greenwood along with finishing the base patching.  Additionally, they completed the first asphalt layer on all streets, and began structures adjustments.  

Next week the contractor will complete structure adjustments, and pave the final asphalt layer on all streets.

07/11/2025

This week the contractor has completed grinding of the MFT streets and will also be doing the around the town surface patching. Additionally, they completed base patching and asphalt driveways on Greenwood Road.  

Next week the contractor will be paving the base layer of asphalt on all roadways as well as plus fixing the brick driveways and adjusting structures on Greenwood Road.  

07/03/2025

This week the contractor is removing and pouring curb on the east side of Greenwood Road.    

Next week the contractor is planning on griding and base patching on Greenwood Road, Christina, Weller, and Hillcrest Lanes and complete the around town roadway patching.
